Multiple states in the South and Midwest were hit by tornadoes and storms, leaving dozens injured, and homes and businesses destroyed. Over 40 tornadoes were reported across Arkansas, Iowa, Tennessee, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Mississippi, with more than 28 million people under a tornado watch.

Scientists have captured footage of the deepest ever fish, a type of snailfish, swimming at a depth of 8,336m in the Izu-Ogasawara Trench south of Japan. The previous deepest fish observation was made at 8,178m in the Mariana Trench.

Cardano blockchain is set to become the largest Ethereum Virtual Machine chain with the introduction of a new feature from Milkomeda that will allow Cardano users to access Ethereum dApps directly from their wallets. This will enable developers to build dApps and DeFi apps on Cardano using Solidity.
